The 7th Annual Grand Targhee Music Camp will be held August 7-10,

2012, preceding the 25th Annual Grand Targhee Bluegrass Festival at

the Grand Targhee Resort in Alta, Wyoming. . The camp will be

3 and 1/2 days of high level instruction with a focus on teaching

individual instrumental skills and on group playing and jamming.

Classes and workshops will be offered in all the bluegrass instruments

including banjo, guitar, mandolin, bass, fiddle, dobro, singing and

songwriting. . Each day will be comprised of morning and afternoon classes, elective

workshops, jam sessions and evening performances, with free time build

in for enjoying the world class environment of Grand Targhee. Join the

fun! After a week of playing, learning and experiencing amazing jams,

campers will enjoy their chance to play on the main stage Friday night

between main acts as the whole camp sings and picks together.The camp

is open to musicians of all abilities and ages, space is limited.
